How to Write the First Chapter of a Book
Sometimes it can actually be better to just let yourself write what you want and you can come back. The first chapter is usually the most edited out of like any part of the book or the first few chapters because it is obviously the part that you really want to get right when you're hooking your readers in the very beginning. But you can really take your time, take stock and go back and try new things.
