Decentralization and Scale Are Like Opposite to Each Other
In a decentralized future, you could have fans that would be listening to one thing over here and something else over here. But decentralization and scale are like opposite to each other. The part that i think has the most potential to make things a little bit cleaner and easier would be block chain. Right now it is so early and so slow that there just hasn't been a lot of evidence of it yet.
