The Importance of Boundaries
We can easily lose sight of the many radically different worlds that other people inhabit, and the limits of our knowledge. Christians are hardly unique in often falling prey to this. Our vision of concrete society will increasingly dissolve into the abstraction of great ideologies and shadowy malign forces. With good boundaries we don't feel always so exposed to things when we interact with them,. We're much better able to respond rather than simply reacting. I've dealt with this subject on several occasions before.
