This chapter explores the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights' findings on the fatal beating of Mexican migrant Anastasio Hernandez Rojas by U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents. It highlights the implications of these findings for law enforcement reform and accountability, particularly in light of the nomination of a new CBP head amidst allegations of misconduct and cover-up.
