The original piece of software was what I built for me and my then fiance, now wife, Julie. The budget was working, but we had an income problem. And that was what made me think, maybe I could sell this spreadsheet. So I didn't have grand plans. I wasn't an entrepreneur. I was in the masters of accounting program, just heads down. He kicked it off as like a little side gig. It helped him feel like he could do it.
