The Advantages of Hyperspectral Data
hyperspectral has been used for mapping invasive weed species and separating those from the crops that they're infecting. It may be able to also detect things like past infestations or diseases much earlier than we can with multispectral. The flexibility that you get when you have all that spectral information, even if you don't always use all of it, is a key advantage.
