We use ultrasound to fair amount in our intensive care unit and I think that with the neurotechnology with the handheld ultrasound it makes it a lot easier to use. The way that we tend to use it if we see hemodynamically unstable patients is that we'll do a quick ultrasound, usually the fellow in the attending will do it even before we've gotten a form ultrasound by cardiology as well.
