In our culture, there is such a premium on autonomy. And so lay people that go out into the world saying, no, i listen to a higher voice. I'm obeying not my ecclesio superior, the way a priest does, but i'm obeying christ. The whole thing about autonomy is also the flipsite of that management. It has to do with pornography, ok? It is rampant in our society. Ever knows that it's a massive problem. We talk about poverty. But this is an unaddressed topic to day," he says.
