Oak Spring Wildlife Sanctuary Is Suing Meek's for a Lion's Escape
Ryan Meek's 23, a former volunteer for Oak Spring Wildlife Sanctuary, is suing the organization for damages. He sustained an injury in the first lion escape which has affected his ability to work. The county is threatening to shut the entire organization down if they don't get the matter settled quickly and quietly. We caught the male lion yesterday, but the female is still missing. She's one of our older cats, very gentle, not in the best health either, unfortunately.
