Netflix and the Serial Novel

Todd: One of the big trends when i was in grad school for for television studies was like actually there is something very literary and sophisticated happening on tv now nobody has to make that argument anymore but at that it was a popular idea. Todd: What netflix does is far more novelistic because they give you the whole novel, not just chapters. He says he doesn't think most people would take this as earth-shattering but even today some still do.
