Are You a Physicist First and Foremost?

I think it's a very human and maybe even not merely human but very highly evolved human capacity to have sort of a self-depreciating humor and enjoy it at the same time. I kind of wish some of our politicians had more of that too. We'll touch about that later. But if I were to make you choose between mathematician and a physicist, are you a physicist first and foremost? I'm a scientist first and foremost. My life slogan I think really defines me is that I would rather have questions I can't answer than answers I can't question. And I'll take on any question that I'm fascinated by whether it be physics, nerdy stuff or more to do
