How to Meet the Needs of Your Direct Reports

In tech companies, it's almost more important to really understand that third and final need in that list. And that's that coach mentor relationship because the nature of technology work is very smart women and men. So I wouldn't expect you as the CEO to have this with everybody in your company. I would expect you to meet those three needs of your direct reports. Then your direct reports need to meet the needs, those threeneeds of their direct reports.
