The Importance of Conceptual Thinking

A conceptual thinker is someone who can go into a company and identify the issue that's the problem, pull it out of the company. They can only analyze that issue using anecdote, examples, metaphors from that industry. If you ask them to analyze the same issue in another industry, they would fail to do it. A lot of times you'll see him looking at the problem, identifying the biggest issue and pulling it out of this 3D hologram. As surprising as this may sound, that is probably the best way to explain conceptual thinking.
