Jesus quotes the scriptures with each temptation, which i think is really important. Everything jesus says is the word of god. If we're wone to face the deepest trials of our lives, we need to have the words of god in our hearts. There are so many of us who want to have a vibrant spiritual life, we actually starve ourselves from what god has spoken to us. We wouldn't eve understand. Why do you think we pray before our meals? If you do, you pray before your meals and tat's supposed to be a ritual. It's suppose to be a superstition.
