The Quality of the Construction in Europe and America

I always thought it was fascinating, the comparison between Europe and America, the quality of the construction. I can really see that in architecture, when you walk in the post-Soviet city, and you see the buildings that were built in the end of the 19th century as opposed to the buildings during the mid 20th century. And I really think that this ties back into the idea of how different types of monies and how different epochs in different times. No pun intended.
