The Pandemic in the Airline Industry
Airlines have huge fixed costs and unionized workforces. They fly big, hums of metal around. It's an incredibly capital-intensive industry. And so they just didn't have any money. Ultimately, it was a political fight. But my sense is that that well designed and implemented by the government does what it's supposed to do.
