Discipline, Correction, Is Because of Love

God disciplines us when there's something in our life that is harmful to us and you're unable or unwilling to deal with it yourselves. So God steps in for our good like a good father ready to forgive, ready to heal. He doesn't need to add punishment to sin. The punishment for sin is sin itself. It's bad enough. Sin punishes us, God corrects and offers life. And this is love.
