The Body Armor Isn't Just for Mass Casual Events

If i have a pistol in my waistband and i run into the active shooter, then there is no tactics. I just get shot. But if i have the pistol presented and i'm looking using good tactics, with my eyes in line with the pistol, i am on the offensive. And the tactics are dictated by what i know. So don't ignore that body armor in the home place. If somebody breaks into my house and i have the time to put on body armor, and i grab my pistol, and my plate carrier is right next to me where i could just throw it over my head.
