David Gergen: Do you think that Alvin Bragg, the Manhattan district attorney is here thinking about any of this as he decides tonight whether or not he's going to indict Donald Trump? Gergen: I don't think he's thinking about what do the voters think, what are the political implications. In the end, the Republican nominee is going to be that person who best articulates an alternative to the current administration and it cannot just be negative. He says Mike Pence has got a decent record as a member of Congress and governor but his biggest challenge will be breaking through on the stage with a big crowd.
