Are You Thinking in a Very Limited Scope?

I think about how to catch that kind of thing where, you know, you're using a certain mental model that's borrowed from a very limited structure. I have found that reading original texts from eras like going back and reading Rousseau or Hobbes can maybe help shed a light on some of how we're trapped as well. It's the problem with that is that it's just so hard to know when you're thinking is sort of trapped in this way because it's like an it's an unknown unknown. Like you can't see outside of the box and so it's hard to know what's out of the box.
