The Importance of a Two Year Contract
Declan Rice is expected to leave West Am after this season. The midfielder has been at the club since he was a 16-year-old. I expect Manchester United, Arsenal and Bayern Munich to all be interested in him. He will have options if he wants to move up north but it's not guaranteed. And realistically you can get a direct jet charter for less than £1m per hour. It would only take an hour or so from Manchester to London. That distance isn't going to be an issue for him.
