Aristotle was not exactly sure what Aristotle was up to, but it certainly seems as if he was somewhat concerned about the issue that were interested in. One of his claims was, Oh, if by villains is true, then it looks as if we don't have any reason to deliberate or to take any trouble with our actions. And I don't know why he would have said that if he wasn't worried somewhat about free will.
