Introduction
Three german thinkers, two philosophers and one artist left a very profound imprint upon the entire romantic movement. One of these certainly was a philosopher, emmanuel kant. Kant detested every form of extravagance, fantasy, what he called schvermeri,. Any form of exaggeration, mysticism, vagueness, confusion. He disliked everything that was rhapsodical or confused in any respect.
