We tend to see lucy painted in a really positive light. But we do glimpse the sort of weaker parts of her character when she encounters the magician's book. And i think in many ways, it's a warning against complacency, against over confidence. Maybe sometimes we just need to challenge these and try very hard not to allow them to be fulfilled.
