What's Up With Modular Nuclear Reactors?
Ylik: Why hasn't nuclear power gotte on a learning curve when it seems like yo're building at this technological thing? It seems like it ought to, right? But it doesnt. Do we know why? Ylik: Part of the story is probably that nuclear reactors are not cooky cutter items. You don't build them in a factory,. So they aren't really mass produced. The french tried to make it more cooki cutter. And the coreans have had some luck in bringing the cost down, but only very weakly.
