Subpoena Authority
As far as I understand, do you gain the subpoena ability when the House changes hands? Obviously now Republicans control the House. Is that how that works? Or Republican House can now issue subpoenas, whereas they sort of couldn't before. Yeah, so we are the minority right now. Patrick McHenry is the ranking member. He does not have subpoena authority. Maxine Waters is the chair has that authority. That'll change in January. As soon as he becomes the chair, he can unilaterally issue subpoenas for information to individuals and or regulators like Gary Gensler. There's a lot of information that we need documents.
