The Debt Ceiling Is a Bad Deal for Republicans
McCarthy: It increases McCarthy's standing in some ways, but whether or not it's a good deal or a bad deal for Republicans, it is a deal. He says he finds it odd that people do have these kind of discussions about the debt ceiling because of spiraling debt. But then again, yeah, and like, you know, that Republicans wanted to take on, which they've already taken on in the house,. The student loan forgiveness issue is kind of pointless in a way.
