Tommy Dorsey started at Merrill Lynch back in 1974 and he first applied there when they weren't hiring anyone. He was 20 something going to Merrill Lynch training school learning how to sell. At the end of the first year, he said, "If I'm going to be successful in this business, I got to become an expert" After reading a book about point and figure stock market trading, his life changed.
