American politics was roughly divided between doves and hawks. Now here we are in 2023 and there's no liberal bourgeoisie at all that's speaking out against the war. Henry Kissinger now appears amongst all the pantheon of political figures is somewhat more reasonable, but he's no doves. He's a war criminal. But all the people who would have historically been liberal doves and connected maybe to the Democratic Party are either silent or the biggest cheerleaders for the US war drive against Russia and China.
