The Biggest Black Hole in the Universe
M 87 is 55 million light years away, but it has a much bigger black hole. It's six point five billion times the as of the sun. Resolving that is equivalent to resolving a piece of fruit on the moon. For you, black holes are unlike any other object in the universe. They're not like chairs, or even stars - they'll never be exactly alike. There is no such thing as an electron and there is no future history with them. And so they have provided this link between our origins and those around us.
