The Coven Crisis

Russian oligarchs, american poles and state connected millionaires are all cut from the same cloth. We must expect rule by elits, at least to an extent, is inevitable every society across time and across place. Democracy doesn't solve or change it, but merely transfers status away from merit and toward politics. democracy simply creates different, worse elits in the form of a permanent managerial, bureaucratic class that no more reflects consent than putten represents the will of all russians.
