Is Cranio-Sacral Training a Better Technique?

I would say that from my own experience, cranial work is in a sense less demanding of a student. That is, you could even fall asleep during a cranial session than it would be. I think most Alexander teachers would prefer that you have your eyes open and be present and noticing what's going on. We do occasionally work with someone sitting if, for example, they're disabled or let's say they're heavily pregnant and they find it difficult to lie down. But yes, it's generally on the table. It's just one of several procedures, most of which are more active than lying on a table.
