Will Apple's Diversification Strategy Change the Chip Industry?

The chip industry will undergo some significant changes over the next 10 years. Europe and the US in particular will be looking to major on next-generation chips, so much more sort of things that are going into car than underpinning 5G technology. So they'll be looking to play in that high-value game. And I suspect that lower-cost countries will remain in the low value or the lower value high-volume chip market.
