The world is complex and context matters that's the first thing. So we need to act then with prudence, understanding complexity in systems. The French Revolution was incredibly radical and became very anti-clerical but it was so radical that it was going to restart absolutely everything, even the calendar. This is just one example of what Chester would call the democracy of the dead. Dead people get a vote in what we do - this is something that's really at the heart of Burke's thinking.
