The Importance of Exposing the Human Side of a Father

This is my oldest and my first one where I'm not the kid fighting against my father. So for the first time, I'm like trying to use my fatherly tools to control a certain dynamic or a crisis. And it's not working. It's condescending to him. He doesn't need you to be their friend. They have friends. But they don't need a friend, they need a father. You're just kind of flying by to see your pants. Things get really wild and crazy at this kind of turning point of child into man that was really explosive.
