Harry Belafonte, 96, of New York City, Died of Congestive Heart Failure

Harry Belafonte died today of congestive heart failure at his home in New York City. The House could vote as early as tomorrow on Speaker Kevin McCarthy's plan to raise the debt limit. With Democrats expected to oppose the plan, McCarthy can afford just four GOP defectors if he wants to pass it. Congressman Steve Womack says there are still fractions of the caucus that are having trouble coalescing around this entire bill.
