Is China a Peaking Power?
There have been indications of building problems within the chinese system for a long time. We just have less insight into what the highest level leaders of china think now than we have really time, since the masidong era. But you can piece together a fair amount of circumstantial evidence that this narrative is at least starting to seep into the minds of chinese leaders. And so again, there's not sort of smoking gun where shisin ping says, we are a piking power, and so we have to begin acting more aggressively because we're running out of time.
