The Six Traditions of Vedic Philosophy
The sixth system classification has a strong bias towards mainstream hinduisms commitment to the veracity of the vedas. This period saw change, not just in the way philosophy was written, but also the very language in which it was written. Among the most notable buddhist philosophers in this period were nagarduna and his immediate disciple, aria deva. Buddhism is not a single monolithic tradition any more than is indian philosophy as a whole.
