The Importance of Intensity in Exercise

LZ Granderson: intensity of effort really matters to trigger these results that we're looking for from exercise. And there's a, it seems there's a threshold level. It's not just necessarily proportionate to effort. LZ: We can get certainly the health benefits of this kind of workout in probably less than 30 minutes twice a week. But our clients want a firmer, more toned, more defined look. They certainly want to see that they've built muscle, but we've often said our goal is not to turn a bunch of baby boomers or busy professionals into bodybuilders. The aim is to make their life better through enhancing their muscles.
