The Importance of a Calm Presence
Adam says he has a eight-year-old son who is terrified of bees. The sheer sight of bees triggers something in him and what he needed I mean he was just really in a bad place, said Adam. What he needed was embrace what he needed was calm according to the author. He also talks about how his own dysregulation can be addressed by being aware of your body as you interact with others.
