The United States' Role in the AI Race

I don't think we've made enough progress, or really any at all that we can point to that sort of looks cohesive and unified in terms of taking a lead with our values and ingenuity on this really important frontier of AI. I'm also very, very competitive and believe that the United States should take the lead on this. And apparently speaker McCarthy has just said that all the people on the Intel committee will be taking classes on AI. So important. The idea that we are being asked and expected to legislate on things like AI like cyber security is kind of worrisome.
