The Importance of a Long-Term Perspective on Climate Change
In order to cause a system change, you need to think a long term. But the problem is right now that we don't have long term. Things are moving so fast. So many things are approaching tipping points and places where socially, economically, ecologically, all of these systems are degenerating at an exponential rate. How do we rectify that? First, in our very mundane level, just to be humble about what we will or will not accomplish in what timeframe.
