The Evolution of Peer Review
In the space of a year for peer review, amounting to something like one and a half billion US dollars of unpaid labor. James Heathers kicked off this thing called the 450 movement after he left academia and went to work as chief science officer at private organization. He sent them an invoice and asked them, pay me $450 and I'll do the peer review for you. But now he's starting to be even more selective in terms of Peer Review requests that he offers.
