I was called to ministry pretty soon after becoming a Christian at 15. My dad had gotten cancer through that process. I really got introduced to the church as a place of home. So salvation for me was never an idea. Like so I said a little prayer in my basement but salvation was always this community which kind of just almost came out of nothing when I followed my dad to church. It's not just about what you know what you don't know, it's also about these more existential questions of identity and how identity gets formed.
