The Throne of Weapons
After the nineteenth century colonial scramble for africa came the twentieth century ideological scramble. A huge influx of arms to the continent and a series of murderous internal wars. The most ambique civil war was among the bloodiest of them. But although the war was over, the guns were still very much present. It is notoriously difficult to re educate a militarized generation to take their place in a peaceful civilian society.
