Alexander the Great was born on a hot July day in 256 BC. His mother, Olympius of Macedonia is giving birth to her first child. Her husband, Alexander's father, Philip, is Al-Sway in Macedonia at the time. The boy will grow up to become legendary leader, Alexander the Great. He ruled for just 13 years but became one of history's most influential figures. But how did he become one of the best known leaders in history? What inspired such loyalty among his troops? And what drove this young man in his endless quest to conquer the known world?
