How to Draw Your Own Personality

I've always drawn and my agent knows this because whenever I send in manuscripts, if I'm having trouble with the scene, I draw an object from it. So she'll get a manuscript from me with like a teapot in the middle of it. And she's like, okay, I guess this one was hard for you. Carving your personality back out of the computer screen was really the hardest part of figuring out how to draw.
