The Origins of Pottery
The smell of cooking so that my mind instantly therefore goes to halves, evidence of made man-made fires. Do you find evidence of harvest within the plaza or at least maybe burnt material that can hint that yes there was lots of cooking going on? The society did have pottery but most of it seems to have been imported. They prefer to use steotype or soapstone for their vessels and this material comes from present day Alabama and Georgia.
