The president himself doesn't care about the details. What he cares about is the opportunity to grandstand at a photo op. And I think that's the one thing we can almost ensure that the Iranians won't give, because really, you know, we have now waited 40 years. That meeting was with the then provisional prime minister, Mehti Bazargan in October of 1979. It was part of the precipitate for the seizure of the U.S. embassy.
