You get the spells for free. Whenever you come across another spell, you have a 75% chance of copying it. The death and dismemberment table by one Arnold Kemp is basically all sorts of nasty war sort of awfulness can happen to you instead of dying. There's no medicine in this edition. Anyone who wants to try to bandage up has to roll half their intelligence or down on a D20 round. So I look forward to you guys stumbling into traps.
